Internship Opportunities with WXPN in Philadelphia, PA

Here's a fantastic opportunity with non-commercial radio tastemaker WXPN in Philadelphia. The station has helped to break countless artists in the worlds of folk, alternative, rock, contemporary, blues, indie, and everything in between. It's actually one of the places I interned so I can say with certainty it's a great place to be. The station is situated in the heart of University City in Philadelphia in the same building as World Cafe Live- which means you're always near live music and fantastic food. Plus, the station hosts a major festival every summer with both up-and-coming and well-known artists and they are huge supporters of local music.  They have many internships available for the summer in the business and finance, major gifts, marketing and web, programming, and sports and news departments.  Find out how to apply below.

WXPN - the non-commercial radio station of the University of Pennsylvania, an NPR partner and a premier guide for discovering new and significant artists in rock, blues, roots & folk - is currently hiring summer interns for a variety of positions.

Current students who are interested in working in the music industry- whether in music journalism, programming, production, business, marketing, web, non-profit management, or events – can learn about WXPN Summer Internship opportunities by visiting http://xpn.org/inside-xpn/internships.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Interns can be hired for the summer term distinctly, or may continue during the school year.
These unpaid internships offer valuable hands-on media experience in a fun and dynamic professional environment.
