Internship Opportunity at The Recording Academy New York Chapter

If you're a regular reader of this site, you probably already know what The Recording Academy is because I'm a big fan of their work, their contributions to the music industry, and the opportunities they provide students through things like GRAMMY U and The GRAMMY Foundation. If you're not familar, The Recording Academy is best known to the general public for The GRAMMY Awards which they hold every year to recognize achievements in music. This membership organization really offers so much more though. It's a professional organization for the music indsutry and those who aspire to be a part of it with Chapters in New York, Atlanta, Chicago, the Pacific Northwest, Florida, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Memphis, Texas, Washington D.C. and Nashville. The Recording Academy, along with its sister organizations The GRAMMY Foundation, and MusicCares, advocate on behalf of musicians on Capitol Hill, hosts networking and educational events for its members, provides aid to musicians in need, and works to offer educational opportunities to students interested in music careers. The New York Chapter of The Recording Academy is currently looking for Fall interns and I encourage you to apply! This would be an especially great place for anyone to who is interested in events or is looking to interact with people from all aspects of the industry. Read on to find out more and how to apply.
